He's doing it again. Osama Bin-Laden has released another tape. He has just surpassed Ozzy for sheer numbers. The new "Osama Be-jommin Mon" release aired just a short while ago on Al-Jazeera. ABC has a transcript of the video, and has indicated that in it, Osama urges the United States to convert to Islam. This way we can end the war in Iraq.
[Yeah, Sammy, we'll get right on that. Should we join the Sunnis and kill the Shia, or vice-versa? You have to be more specific. We want to know because we have noticed how prosperous and fair-minded Islamic countries are. And we are anxious to become just as uneducated, backward, and our women can't wait to be abused, like the majority populace of most Islamic countries.].
I can think of about 5 ways to end that war which do not involve anyone converting to anything. Does this represent Islamic logic? If so, I want a refund on my Qu'ran. Convert to Islam? Most Americans would rather blow themselves up first. But then, I suppose one could do both simultaneously.
I'm not sure if this guy has noticed, but not too many Americans are dying to know how many shopping days we have left till Ramadan.
The only truly interesting feature of this new release includes the apparent fact that Osama is still alive, and in desperate need of a good barber.
The United States has placed a $50 million price tag on his head. It was bumped up from $25 million a short while ago. This means he is still a viable (did I mention profitable?) target.
